"Greetings from the sunshine beauty of Dubrovnik, Dalmatian coast jewel", albeit not exactly one undiscovered. In fact, I have mixed feelings about Dubrovnik. No doubt this is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Especially the old city, which has been preserved and restored through battle and siege of the early 1990s and stretch out with pink sea surfaces through brilliant blue water.

However, exactly this nice place to stay secret, Dubrovnik is bypassed completely. Winding streets filled with cafes and shops, crowds and crowds of tourists, mostly in large groups and speak French, German, or Spanish. There isn't much scenery backpacker in Dubrovnik beaches packed streets; with families, retired couples, youth honeymooners, EC jet crowd. An entire city resort is very similar, with prices to match, life on a budget is not easy here, especially compared to the relatively inexpensive places came from. I managed to find a couch in my tip, about 15 minutes bus ride from the old town, in one of the few places that offer dorm accommodations, so it costs.

I arrived last night in time to meet my dormatis and go for some pizza (food affordable only). Then, the whole city (to visualize the entire country) wore these cheques red, white and find a place to watch the large screen Croatia get beaten Brazil in their first "World Cup". Despite the lost Panel, entertaining watching crowd singing and shouting in the streets.

Today, largely spent the day walking around the old city. Did the activity must do-walk on the walls of the city-made some awesome views of the city. I visited "the old synagogue, where the exhibition was established around ghetto Dubrovnik in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. I also saw photography exhibit at one of galleries along walls, comprised entirely of photos taken from female photojournalists in war zones — mostly from Croatia and the former Yugoslavia, but not limited to. Some gruesome images, but amazing how have already taken. They are real switch date mostly war 60 years ago and I encounter everywhere in the northern part of Europe; here, surgeon fresher much but Dubrovnik as the destination resort isn't really the place to see much evidence of them.

I hope tomorrow to head north to the coast. By mark off just a minute short version encourage almziton, who find themselves down 3-1 as I write this but who still have a chance to bounce back. "
